The astronomical clock of Tübingen was constructed in the year 1511, it had its 500th anniversary in 2011. It was build by Johannes Stoeffler about 100 years before Johannes Kepler studied at Tübingen University. The clock still works well at the front of the old town hall. Here you can see the planets Jupiter and Venus setting behind the clock in the evening of March 14th, 2012.
